Overview
SMC TigerAccess™ Managed Services are a series of powerful, flexible, and yet scalable set of IT services and tools that are offered by SMC Networks and its Channel Partners. Easy to deploy and use, SMC Networks Managed Services provide centralized, remote, and "proactive" management of SMC managed network devices, 3rd party network devices, and End Clients (PCs and Servers) on customer networks. SMC's Managed Services are offered as Service bundles from SMC and its channel partners.SMC Managed Services offers the VAR a unique way to offer and deliver services to their customer base by leveraging the capabilities, support and service infrastructure that SMC provides; while still providing the ability for the VAR to create and deploy their own added value services on top and in addition. The combination of VAR and SMC managed services provides a complete and individualized tailored service solution for their customers.
The SMC Service package provides an integrated reporting and support capability that allows for quick and easy display/output and distribution of information about the managed devices with a controlled and visible environment for diagnosing, collaborating and closing out any network and system related issues.
SMC Managed Services can be deployed to fill the gap or provide supplemental IT management resources for our VAR's customers and create an added value way for our channel partners to add and/or extend their own.
SMC TigerAccess™ Managed Services are enabled by the combination of SMC Network Management Platform Appliances, Agents, an Internet Portal and a Portal based Customer/VAR/SMC accessible NOC.
Although SMC Managed services are optimized for the delivery of services for their own Switches, Routers and NICs the services solutions provides the capabilities to support a wide range of Servers, PCs and 3rd party networking devices, for a fully integrated solution.
All SMC TigerAccess™ Managed Services are delivered with extensive SMC and SMC Partner support with a 2 year service commitment*
